Quaint restaurant with authentic taste.Went to Thailand back in Novemver 2016 and I felt like I was on vacation all over again. The food is very authentic and fresh! Could not get over the Tom Ka appetizer which was a lemongrass chicken soup. Small and intimate location allowed the service to be quicker than expected and a more personal experience. Would definitely suggest you to check it out.

I took an elderly friend to Orchids last evening and after we entered the restaurant, we were seated and told the server that we both wanted the crab soup and flounder. Because the room was very cold we asked to move to a warmer spot. We were seated for over an hour with the waitress going back and forth with diners already eating after another 1/2 hour we asked for soup which arrived. We then had another long wait and I asked about our meal, the waitress said she forgot what we ordered and after another long period of time she brought us flounder that was under-cooked and seemed not to be fresh. The rice was cold, and the dish had none of the lovely seasoning I experienced at Orchids in the past. To be fair only one server was there and I know that what the kitchen produced was just awful. I'm hoping this was a glitch. The once lovely Orchids ambiance seemed to have disappeared.

The Tom Yum soup was fantastic and perfectly spiced. . Pad Thai also very good. But they don't spice it up much like most Thai places. I ordered medium, and that's hot by all but Thai standards. It wasn't spicy at all and I had to dose it up with a lot of red pepper. Also, they don't have a spicy tray like many Thai places, and I missed the Vietnamese chile paste and jalapenos. Still, it's the best I've found in AC yet.

Best Thai around! Great food, overall enjoyable experience! If you are looking for a traditional restaurant atmosphere and super quick service, this is not the place for you. If you prefer sitting back, relaxing, having a chance to explore authentic Thai cuisine in a laid-back atmosphere, all without spending a fortune (very reasonable menu prices and BYOB make for an affordable night!) then this is the secret spot you have been looking for! Yes, the hours are limited, so call ahead or get there early to avoid disappointment. Best place around and not to be missed!

after reading the reviews, my friends and i, who love thai, decided to check this place out. at first, everything seemed fine, the service was amazing. when our food arrived, i was enjoying my curry dish. however, i peered down onto my plate and saw a bug in my sauce. i sent my dish back, our waitress was very polite about it. however, the kitchen staff was not and i could hear them loudly insisting that i had stuck the bug into their food. i was extremely insulted, and also angry that they had yelled at our server like this. i will never return to this restaurant, which is disappointing, as there arent many thai restaurants in the area.

Remember, is a BYOB. The food takes a some time to arrive burnt is worth the wait. I would recommend the chicken green curry. Sum tum salad. Thai tea and for dessert, sticky rice with mangoes or 1 scoop of Thai tea ice cream and one scoop of coconut ice cream . Enjoy😊

The worst possible Thai food ever.. Its actually not Thai at all.. Its a freaking joke of Thai food.. Never order the Thai shrimp.. Its 3 boiled long prawns.. AND a joke of grilled ASAIN veggies on the side: Onion Tomato Green Pepper. Need to define for them whats Asian vegetables... Thai red curry had cauliflower and Lettuce!!!!! in it... It was a bloody joke... There was nothing silken about the silken tofu but rather so hard that it wouldn't even cut with a knife.... The portions are a bloody joke for the price they charge... If you are from proper jersey and enjoy thai food at Thai Kitchen II ( which is HEAVENLY) you are in for the shock of your lifetime. PLS DO NOT GO. The place's upkeep is awful.. dusty and what not... We wanted to give it a chance based on the reviews and the rating... Its unfortunately not even 1% true... AGAIN DONT GO.

This is the best Thai food hands down in Southern New Jersey. Service is slow and hours are limited, but it is my favorite local restaurant. Try the sweet rice and Chuchee salmon for a great meal.

We love this tiny restaurant. The food is of the charts good... Fresh, clean, and tasty, every dish is made to order . Nothing frozen or bland. The Thai tea is awesome too!

Good Thai food. Service is a bit slow, but I'm pretty sure it is all being made from scratch in the kitchen while you wait. I want to say the food is more authentic than Rama Thai, but I honestly do not know anything about authentic Thai food.
